Underwater jet massage – Tangetor

The underwater jet massage takes place in a body-warm tub, where different parts of the body or, if necessary, the whole body are treated with the appropriate intensity of the water jet. It relaxes cramped, tight muscles, increases metabolism and lymphatic circulation. It is highly recommended for post-accident and post-surgical treatment, as it improves weakened muscles.
The advantage of underwater jet massage is that it is gentle, yet thorough massage of problem areas.
It was first used in sports medicine and then spread from there to general medicine. Underwater jet massage was first used in Germany to rehabilitate injured athletes and to improve their fitness, especially when there was little time for recovery between two competitions.
A medical examination is required for weight bath treatment. The treatments are carried out in a special tub filled with water at 35-36°C. The person carrying out the treatment can direct the water jets at different points on the body, and the intensity of the jets can be adjusted. Typically, the massage starts with a jet of water at a lower pressure and is gradually intensified.
Underwater jet massage is still used today in sports medicine. More generally, it is recommended for musculoskeletal disorders, circulatory problems and certain nervous system diseases.
It is particularly effective in treating spastic, stiff muscles. It can also be a solution if "traditional" massage is not applicable for some reason, or it can be a complementary element.
