Float spa

The idea of the floatation tank came from the American neuro-psychiatrist John C. Lilly, who in 1954 conducted research on the effects of sensory deprivation. To prove this, he built his first floating tank to study the mind-brain connection.
During floatation therapy, the client relaxes in an environment free from external stimuli, floating on the surface of a highly concentrated saltwater solution. This experience deeply relaxes and rejuvenates the body and mind. It can reduce harmful stress hormones, relieve pain and tension and stimulate the release of beneficial endorphins in the brain.
The floating cabin is based on the complete withdrawal of external stimuli. When all external stimuli, all external environmental influences are eliminated, the human brain enters a pre-sleep brainwave state called "Alpha" or "Theta", which can have similar benefits to relaxation training, hypnosis, meditation, yoga and massage; both in terms of psychological and physical results.
The most significant effect of floating is that it relieves the body of the burden of gravity on the body. Our muscles and joints are relieved of strain, allowing them to relax completely. During floating, the body is in a state of weightlessness thanks to the high concentration of salt in the water, which allows the guest to float on the surface without any effort. The cabin excludes all sound and light, creating an environment free of distractions, allowing you to relax in total tranquillity. The fewer distractions, the more intense the regenerating effect on the body. This weightless, stimulus-free environment frees the brain from the constant tasks of controlling the body in space (proprioception) and processing sensations. By creating a kind of neurological vacuum, the brain and nervous system automatically switch to deep relaxation and restore the balance between mind and body (homeostasis).
The most significant result of floating - on which the whole method is based - is that the body is freed from the effects of gravity on our bodies. Our muscles and joints (both supporting, skeletal and moving) are relieved of strain and become completely relaxed. The body is in a state of weightlessness, and the cabin eliminates distracting sound and light effects, allowing us to relax in complete tranquillity. The floatation is based on the high salt concentration of the water in the float tank, which allows the body to float on the surface. In short, the essence of floatation is that neither the effects of gravity, nor light and noise disturb the brain while floating!
Research conducted at American universities has confirmed the experience of people who use floating baths, showing that floating not only promotes relaxation and total physical and mental relaxation, but also - partly as a consequence - can have additional beneficial effects in the following areas, depending on the individual abilities of the user.
Mental state, neurology
- stress reduction
- Increased creativity
- Increased concentration and problem-solving skills
- alleviation of learning disabilities
- alleviation and sometimes elimination of insomnia and chronic fatigue
- reduction of dependence on harmful addictions
- reduction of depressive and anxiety symptoms
- reduction of behavioural disorders
- reduction of migraine headaches
About musculoskeletal complaints
- great reduction in the symptoms of arthritis, back and lower back pain, stiff neck, sprains
- relief of symptoms of spinal disorders of various origins
For internal organ symptoms
- reduced risk of cardiovascular disease through stress relief
- reducing the symptoms of respiratory diseases by inhaling salt air
- general immune boosting effect, fewer illnesses
Perceived beneficial effects on sporting activity
- general improvement in performance, fitness

- faster absorption of bruises and other surface injuries
- removal of dead skin cells, skin rejuvenation
- dilates skin pores, preparing the skin for cosmetic treatments
The high concentration of salt water used in the FLOAT SPA device has proven positive effects on dermatological pathologies in IN VITRO and IN VIVO experiments.
