The Balance Medical Center is the health and wellness centre of the Balance Resort and opened its doors in September 2022.

The four-star hotel, campsite, spa and medical centre form a close-knit unit.

The newly opened health and medical centre, in a modern and exclusive setting, specialises primarily in musculoskeletal rehabilitation.

In addition to classic treatments, which are also supported by NEAK (National Health Insurance Fund of Hungary) or wellness treatments, the centre's flagship is the unique hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

In hyperbaric oxygen therapy, patients breathe 100% pure oxygen in a pressurised chamber. The high pressure (2.5ATA) it creates makes it suitable for treating conditions requiring medical oxygen therapy, as opposed to low pressure (so-called mild/soft) oxygen tents. Its scope of use and principles of operation are regulated by the European Underwater and Baromedical Society (EUBS), in accordance with the principles of evidence-based medicine.

In combination with hyperbaric oxygen therapy, the effectiveness of physiotherapy or special treatments can be maximised.
